TransPack buys the first ETERNA SAL flat press in the CIS

In an interview on August 4, 2020, employees of the ZIKO Group of Companies mentioned that they had signed a contract for the supply of the latest Eterna SAL flat die-cutter with one of the enterprises from St. Petersburg. And now the cards are revealed: the buyer is the TransPak company.

“We have carefully studied the offers on the market, visited several enterprises in Russia where Eterna flat presses work, talked with production and operators, and then made a choice in favor of the e-CUT 1650SAL-Elite model,” says Andrey Zlobin, Technical Director of TransPak.

At the end of this year, TransPak plans to put into operation a new corrugated board plant in the Leningrad region, where a flat press will be installed. This will be the first SAL machine in the CIS with an equalizing table, its maximum speed is 6 thousand pieces / hour.

- For the first time in Russia, we will install a new generation car in St. Petersburg. For us, cooperation with TransPack is a very important and responsible step.

As part of a partnership, we will pay special attention and help with the recruitment and training of operators on the flat press.

“The e-CUT 1650SAL-Elite model is a special modification of the press, where in the standard configuration there is a special section for equalizing the workpiece in the longitudinal and transverse directions,” continues Alexander Grachev.

- I would especially like to note the patented solution, which allows for very precise feeding of the workpiece into the sheet-carrying system. This system allows you to vary the speed of the sheet from the feed section to the nibbling section.

The workpiece accelerates and stops smoothly, and in the middle section of movement the sheet picks up maximum speed.

The configuration of this press allows it to work equally effectively with regular corrugated packaging and with high-quality coated material and / or laminate.

The line will also be equipped with a final frame loading device and a 6 + 1 interchangeable plate system, which will significantly reduce makeready times and increase the life of the dies.
