TRANSPACK buys Apstar midline

The line will be installed and launched in the spring of 2021 at a new production site near St. Petersburg.

The line configuration includes 4 bottom-stamped units, 4-shaft slotting and creasing unit, top-die rotary die cutting unit and a folder gluer.

The equipment has a well-thought-out and modern functionality:

- full automation of formatting
- the ability to memorize up to 10,000 orders
- vacuum guiding of the workpiece from feeding to the counter-ejector
- autonomous filtration system
- a system for cleaning the sheet from dust and removing static.

The design of the 4-shaft slotter makes it possible to produce a very wide assortment of boxes on different types of profiles and does not require operator intervention for changeover.

The modern rotary unit is equipped with the SUN Microgrind grinding system, which grinds the coating of the pressure roll during operation and automatically synchronizes the speed of rotation of the pressure roll relative to the die roll. This provides a high-quality and uniform pressure along the entire length of the stamp and makes it possible to make both full-fledged die-cutting of a box or tray, and cutting elements such as perforation or self-assembled bottom.

The line with the bottom print Apstar HG2 is the calling card of the DONGFANG concern. This equipment has been designed for the European and North American market. In less than two decades, Apstar has found more than five hundred of its customers.
