Celebratory evening event
On Friday, 24 May 2019, the well-renowned Bielefeld-based machine engineering firm, Herzog+Heymann, celebrated 70 years since its formation. Those invited to the celebratory evening event held by the manufacturer of special folding machines included employees, sales partners and customers. The event was held in the "Hechelei" building, which forms part of the historical landmark, the Ravensberg Spinning Mill. During the 19th and 20th centuries, this was one of Europe's largest flax spinning mills. The well-preserved industrial architecture of the "Hechelei" building provided the perfect ambience for the anniversary celebrations.
The evening's entertainment was pleasingly varied. From event stewards to live music and a raffle; it was all happening. Naturally there was also an excellent buffet and plenty of opportunities to take to the dance floor. Dirk Stühmeier, CEO of Herzog+Heymann, emphasised in his opening speech: "A 70-year old anniversary is something very special for us given today's rapid pace of life. The fact that we are able to be here today is thanks to our partners and customers, and above all our colleagues. For this reason, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to every single person who has accompanied us on this journey for their many years of loyalty. Many thanks for joining us today to celebrate our anniversary with us. Many thanks also for your well-wishes and gifts. I look forward to our ongoing collaboration with you."
