In spite of declining numbers of visitors, the MBO Group is very pleased with China Print 2017. Those involved in discussions were extremely well-qualified and well-prepared. MBO was able to sell three machines directly at the trade fair. On top of this, the MBO Group is still expecting a few deals to be completed as a result of post-trade-fair business.
China Print took place from 9 to 13 May 2017 in Beijing. It opened its doors for the ninth time this year. The trade fair is held every four years and is one of the largest and most important exhibitions for the printing industry. This time, the folding machine manufacturer MBO, together with its subsidiary MBO Binder Graphic Systems (Beijing) Co. Ltd., presented alongside twelve other German companies in the German pavilion, which is organised by the German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA).
The company exhibited its K70 combi folding machine. Since its market launch a year ago, MBO has already been able to sell more than 40 of these machines – predominantly in China and Europe.
The popularity of the K70 is the result of its simple, robust design and also its good price-performance ratio. The machine is based on the technology successfully used for several years in the K760E. As a result, it is a highly reliable and tough workhorse with no gimmicks or gadgets. This large format folding machine is ideal for producing signatures, flyers and other similar products. As it is only available in a manual version, it is the perfect solution for medium-length print runs.
